Schools Phasing Out Cursive
It’s about damn time. I never understood why such emphasis was put on an arcane form of penmanship. They may as well teach architectural lettering… at least it is legible. (via thedw)
I don’t know what it is, but I can’t feel comfortable with this. I think handwriting is a healthy way of organizing thoughts and presenting them. Cursive is never used professionally, maybe it can be moved into a special category in literature? Cursive becoming a kind of thing only arty book people know?? hm…..
